The program consists of two consecutive 10 weeks periods of childcare. The first 10 weeks is 100% sponsored (free) childcare; the second 10 weeks is 50% sponsored (half-price) childcare.
Sponsored childcare places are in our Toowoomba Central Education and Care Centre at 5 Jennings Street, Toowoomba. Childcare placements will commence across January, February and March 2021.
Applications will close 30 January 2021, or before if oversubscribed.
Established in 1975, Kath Dickson Family Centre is a not-for-profit community-based organisation. As a community organisation, our Vision is to advance the education and wellbeing of children, individuals, and families.
Kath Dickson Family Centre understands the many issues, challenges, and stresses currently facing families. Our Childcare services are designed for families so they can continue to be gainfully employed, look for work, or undertake studies or training knowing their children are receiving quality education and care.
However, we know that some families in our community are ineligible for the Federal Government’s Child Care Subsidies, and unable to afford full fees. This may be for a number of reasons, including residency status and visa class. Kath Dickson Family Centre has committed to supporting low-income families that are ineligible for Australian Government Child Care Subsidies.
Places are limited - not every application will receive a placement.
Position will be offered over January, February and March 2021.
Applicants must provide proof that they are ineligible for Child Care Subsidies for the duration of the Placement Period.
By applying, applicants agree to that their and their child’s name and photograph may be used for promotional and marketing activities, including Mainstream and Social Media (Details of your entry will remain confidential)
