Membership

Membership to the Toy Library is open to all members of the community. The library contains over 3,000 items for borrowing. These include books, toys, board games, CD’s, musical instruments, costumes and dress-ups, blocks, dolls, outside play equipment, sandpit toys, puzzles, infant toys and shakers, construction materials and much more. All toys are disinfected and checked for safety before being placed on the shelves. The Toy Library also provides resource and information books for borrowing. These books cover topics such as parenting and family concerns, child development, activities for children, and health and safety.

 

Play Groups 

Play Groups are held weekly on a Wednesday morning at 10.00am. This play group is free to toy library members or a $2.00 donation per child for non members. Our Play Groups cater to children at every developmentally level. Enjoy music and movement, language and literacy and craft activities. Meet community members and gather creative ideas to extend upon at home from our teacher qualified host  

Baby Sling Dance

Parents move their body to a gentle dance routine with baby secure in a sling. Your little one can enjoy the benefits of dance and music while you improve your fitness. A wonderful bonding opportunity for parents and children from newborn to toddlers. (Please note that the child can be held if you do not have access to a sling/baby carrier)

What to bring: Water bottle, baby sling, comfortable clothes.
Cost: $3.00 Donation.

Unsure of how to keep the children entertained over the school holiday period.

Join our toy library vacation care social group and enjoy the many activities on offer. A range of activities are on available including movies, theatre, horse riding, picnics and swimming. There is something for everyone and gives families the opportunity to meet other families living within our community.
